What this site is
Characters.biz is a reference site for the characters of popular fiction: anime and manga, Western animation, Disney and Pixar films, live-action TV, comics, video games and books. Each page answers one of two questions. Either who is this character? or how does this cast fit together? Content is organised by franchise rather than as one giant index, because most readers arrive looking for a particular show, film or game.
The site is independent. It isn't affiliated with any studio, publisher, network or platform. Character names and trademarks belong to their owners, and we refer to them for commentary and reference. Every description on the site is original writing. We don't copy wiki text or reproduce official artwork. The coloured initials next to each character are generated placeholders, not likenesses.

How pages are researched and written
- Source first. We work from the show, film, game or book itself, and check credits such as voice and live-action casts against official releases.
- Accuracy over volume. If we can't confirm a detail (an age, a birthday, a credit), we leave it out rather than guess.
- Spoilers flagged. Major plot reveals sit behind clear warnings, so you can browse a cast mid-season safely.
- Reviewed, not just published. Every page shows the date it was last updated, and big franchises are revisited when new seasons change the story.
Corrections
Popular fiction moves fast and we get things wrong sometimes. If you spot an error, a missing character or an out-of-date detail, email [email protected] with the page link and, ideally, a source. Confirmed corrections are applied and the page's updated date changes to match. Character requests and franchise suggestions are welcome at [email protected].
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and where they lose interest, so we know what to improve next. The site has no ads, no accounts and no newsletter. The privacy policy explains exactly what is collected.
