How the guides work

Every franchise page follows the same pattern, so once you've used one you can find your way around any of them. The cast is grouped the way the story groups it: crews, clans, houses, families, teams. Each character gets a short description that tells you who they are, what they want and why they matter. Big casts have a filter box at the top, so you can type a name or tap a faction instead of scrolling. Most pages end with an A–Z list of names, a voice or live-action cast table, and answers to the questions people actually search for.

  1. Search or browse. Press / anywhere on the site and type a character, show or game. Search covers character names too, so "Gojo" takes you straight to Jujutsu Kaisen.
  2. Filter the cast. On big rosters, type in the filter box or tap a group (Hashira, Straw Hats, the Vees) to narrow the list.
  3. Go deeper. Follow the links to related casts, character profiles, quizzes and craft guides at the end of every page.

Beyond the lists

Characters.biz is also for people who want to understand why characters work. The guides section covers archetypes, villain types, redemption arcs and character design, with examples taken from the casts on this site. For something more playful, try the character quizzes, argue with our tier lists, or see who's celebrating in the character birthday calendar.
