Most pages on this site are cast guides: one page per series, with every important character, their group, a short description and who voices them. That's the right format when you want to know who someone is. It isn't enough when you want to understand them, and some characters carry so much story that a four-sentence card can only hint at it.
Profiles fill that gap. Each one takes a single character and covers their personality, how their powers or skills actually work, their full arc from first appearance to the end (with spoilers marked), the relationships that shape them, and the trivia people look up. If a cast guide is a map, a profile is a walk through one neighbourhood.

Every profile on the site, newest additions included. Below the list, the same profiles are grouped by series with a line on what each one covers.
Anime and manga profiles
Anime leads tend to have long arcs and complicated power systems, which is exactly what profiles are for.

- Yuji Itadori: the series' lead, the boy who swallowed a cursed finger, and how he grows from a vessel into a sorcerer in his own right.
- Ryomen Sukuna: the King of Curses, his techniques and domain, and why he's one of the most discussed villains in modern manga.
For the full cast, see the Jujutsu Kaisen character guide.

How we write profiles
Every profile follows the same shape, so you know where to look:
- Overview — who the character is, in a few paragraphs, with a quick-facts box beside the title.
- Personality — what they want, what they fear and how they treat people, with examples from the story.
- Abilities or role — how their powers or skills actually work, in plain terms.
- Story arc — their path through the series in order, with spoilers inside marked boxes.
- Relationships — the people who shape them, each with a short card.
- Trivia and FAQ — the details people look up, such as age, birthday or voice actor.
We write everything in our own words from the source material, and we leave out anything we can't confirm, so you won't find guessed ages or invented heights. When a series gives conflicting information, between the manga and the anime for example, we say so. If you want to see how we think about characters more broadly, our guides to character archetypes and character development explain the ideas behind the profiles.
Profiles are added a few at a time. If a character you care about isn't here yet, their series' cast guide is the best place to start, and you can find every cast guide from the anime and cartoon hubs.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a profile and a cast guide?
A cast guide, like our Demon Slayer page, covers everyone in a series with a short description each. A profile covers one character in depth: personality, abilities, their whole story, relationships and trivia. Each profile links back to its cast guide and the other way round.
Do the profiles contain spoilers?
Yes, because a full story arc can't be explained without them. Every major spoiler sits inside a clearly marked warning box, so you can skim past it. The overview and personality sections at the top are kept spoiler-light.
How do you choose which characters get a profile?
We start with the characters people search for most and the ones whose story is too big for a cast card: leads, major villains, and fan favourites with complicated arcs. We add new profiles over time.
Can I suggest a character?
Yes. Send suggestions or corrections through the contact page. Requests for characters from series we already cover are the easiest for us to add.
Are the profiles official?
No. Characters.biz is an independent fan reference site, not affiliated with any studio or publisher. The profiles are written by us from the source material, in our own words.
